This Legal Notice sets out the terms on which Apexodd (the “Site”) is made available and the responsibilities that attach to use of the Site. By accessing the Site you accept the terms below.

Age verification

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over only. Gambling, and content about gambling, is restricted under UK law to adults. If you are under 18, you must not use the Site. The Site does not knowingly direct content at minors, and no part of the Site is designed to appeal to readers under 18.

Nature of the content

The Site publishes editorial analysis of Formula 1 betting markets in the United Kingdom. The information presented is general in nature and is provided for information only. Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, legal, tax, medical or investment advice. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy, any product or service. The Site does not take wagers and does not hold customer accounts.

Prices, regulatory thresholds, operator names, licensing status, payment methods, market structures and statistical figures may change without notice. Readers should verify current details directly with the operator or regulator concerned before placing any wager. You bet entirely at your own risk and on your own assessment.

Licensing

The Site is an editorial publication and does not require a Gambling Commission operating licence. Any operator that takes a wager in the United Kingdom must hold a current licence from the UK Gambling Commission. The licence number for each operator can be checked on the public register maintained by the Gambling Commission at gamblingcommission.gov.uk. The Site is not affiliated with the Gambling Commission and does not act on its behalf.

Editorial independence

The Site publishes independent analysis. The Apexodd editorial team is not affiliated with any UKGC-licensed operator named in editorial coverage. Where the Site refers to a specific operator, it does so to describe the operator landscape, not to direct or steer transactions.

Affiliate disclosure

If the Site at any point publishes a link that earns the Site a commission on referred traffic, that link will be flagged as an affiliate link in line with the Advertising Standards Authority’s guidance and the Competition and Markets Authority’s guidance on consumer-protection law. The Site does not currently rely on operator affiliate revenue. If that changes in the future, this section will be updated and existing affiliate placements will be retro-disclosed.

Corrections policy

Where a substantive error of fact is identified in any article on the Site, the correction is applied to the original article and a brief note is added at the foot of that article describing what changed. We do not silently rewrite published material. Where a statistical figure becomes out of date, the article is updated and the last-updated marker is moved forward. Readers who notice a possible error are encouraged to contact us using the channel on the About Us page.

The Site links out to a small number of official resources, including the Gambling Commission, Formula 1, the FIA, the Betting and Gaming Council, HM Revenue and Customs, GamCare, BeGambleAware and GamStop. These links are provided for the reader’s convenience. The Site is not responsible for the content of any external website and the inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of the linked party’s wider activities.

Intellectual property

All editorial text, original analysis, layout, design and imagery commissioned for the Site is the property of the Site or its licensors. Quoting short extracts for the purpose of review, criticism or news reporting is permitted under standard copyright exceptions, provided attribution is given. Wholesale reproduction of any article without prior written permission is not permitted.

Trademarks, logos and brand names belonging to third parties (including operator brand names, broadcaster brand names, and team names from Formula 1) remain the property of their respective owners and are used only descriptively for the purpose of editorial coverage.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
